Privacy notice

When you open the club, Telegram sends us your Telegram account number, your first name, your username if you have one, and a link to your profile photo.

We ask for your phone number at your first order. The club opens Telegram’s own box, and your number reaches us only if you tap Share there. We never ask you to type it in.

We use it to call you about your order, and afterwards to make a short call asking how it went. To have it removed, message us in the Best Price Club chat in Telegram. When we delete your details, your phone number goes with them.

Your orders: what you bought, the price, the baqala you chose and when you collected. Your payments: the amount, the reference, the note you wrote, and the message your bank or card provider sends us about the payment, which can include your name and account. Refunds, coupons, the friends you invited, and the messages we send you about your payments and refunds.

What you look at and search for in the club, so we can show you deals you are likely to want.

Which version of our terms of sale and this notice you agreed to, and when. Paying is agreeing: we record it with your payment.

To take your order, match your payment to it, hand your order over at the baqala, refund you when we owe you, and show you relevant deals. We keep sales and refund records because a business has to.

The host at your baqala sees your first name and your order when you collect it.

If you start or join a group, the other members of that group see your first name and photo, and whether you have paid: you are buying together. Anyone else in the club sees only your initial, for example “S.”, and how many in the group have paid, never who. When you start a group, the home page says so with your initial and “Dubai”, never your name or your area.

A link you share to a deal or a product carries your Telegram account number, so we know who invited whom when a friend opens it. Anyone you send it to can see that number in the link.

Your bank (for an Aani transfer), Telegram and its card provider (for a card or Apple Pay), and Lean (for paying with your bank) see what they need to move the money. Our database and our server are in India; our backups are kept with Cloudflare.

• What you look at and search for: 90 days. After that we keep only monthly totals with no names, such as how many people searched for a fruit we did not have.
• The message your bank or card provider sends about a payment: 180 days. After that we keep only the amount, the reference and your note.
• The words of a message we sent you about a payment or a refund: 90 days.
• Orders, payments, refunds, and the record of each payment and collection: kept as sales records.
• Your phone number: until you ask us to delete your details.
• Backups of all of this: up to 30 days.

To ask us for a copy of everything we hold about you, or to delete your details, message us in the Best Price Club chat in Telegram. We send the copy as a file.

When we delete your details we remove your name, username, photo, area and phone number, what you looked at and searched for, and the words of the messages we sent you. We keep your orders and payments, without your name, because they are sales records, and a note that we deleted your details and when, so that a restored backup cannot bring them back. If you open the club again later, Telegram sends us your name and photo again, and we ask for your phone number again at your next order.

We give it a new version and date. Checkout says that paying is agreeing to the notice on this page, and we record which version, and when, with your payment.
